Densitometers for prepress and printing. In the classical field of densitometers, Gretag today has two products: the D200 for transmission and the D19C for reflection. Both are the result of several decades of product development, and it is correct to say that both products represent the end of a development.
The D200 measures halftone and continuous-tone films up to a density of 6.0 log.D. and displays the values either as densities or dot percentages. Color transparencies also can be measured, a process that requires changing the measuring head.
